Please include on your CV the best way to get into contact with you. We will consider CV’s sent to us and if we would like you to attend interviews we aim to contact you within three working days to let you know the timeframe in which interviews are taking place.

Interviews:

In person interview

This interview is for us to get to know one another, you are invited to see the office, meet some of the team, and we welcome and encourage any questions you may have for us. We strive for open, honest conversations and want you to feel as sure about us as an employer, as we want to be about how you’ll fit into our team.

Technical Interview

This can be daunting, we understand. But as well as to test your technical knowledge, this also helps us to understand the way you approach tasks queries and/or assignments, as well as your thought processes. It takes place in a work space of your choice, so you have all of the resources you would normally use for your work. We do not expect any candidate to have all of the answers to our questions, which is why we try to include a broad range of topics including those within any specialisms you have, so you can showcase your abilities. Please keep in mind we are just as interested in seeing how you approach the unknown, so that if you are successful in receiving a job offer, we can help to guide your technical development during your career with The VAT Team.

Psychometric Test

Some roles it may be necessary to complete a psychometric test. This aids our understanding of you as a person and is nothing to worry about. There are no right or wrong answers for this.

Interview Feedback

We aim to be back in contact with you within 7 working days of the completion of the interviews for the job role. We use this time to run through any feedback we have about how the interview went from our perspective and would invite any feedback you have about how it when from yours. If we feel that you would be suited to a role in The VAT Team, we will let you know on this call. Any offer given over the phone, will also be followed up with an offer letter sent by email within a few days.

Time to Reflect & Consider

Changing jobs or taking a new job is a big decision, we understand this and want you to take the time to consider our offer so that you too can be sure about your decision. You might want to consider your options and discuss with family and friends before you make a final decision.
